Allantoin
hydrates and soothes the skin, heals and remove excess skin cells. Allantoin is effective at treating wounds, burns, skin ulcers and eczema. Its moisturizing property makes it an excellent active for aging, sensitive or easily irritated skin.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract
Aloe Vera leaves helps to soothe irritated and inflamed skin and keep skin moisturized. Due to its anti inflammatory benefits, it can be applied topically to reduce appearance of scars and heal burns.
Alpha Arbutin
Rich in antioxidants this skin-conditioning agent is naturally derived from fruits like blueberries and has been found to lighten age spots and help to improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation.
Arctium Lappa (Burdock) Root Extract
A skin-conditioning agent which soothes and moisturizes skin, preventing dry and flaky skin. It also control oil production to prevent excess oil production.
Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil
It is known colloquially as “liquid gold” due to its exceptionally high levels of Vitamin E and essential fatty acids. These serve as emollients, attracting and retaining hydration in the skin, and have potent anti-inflammatory properties. It’s rich antioxidant profile nourishes and protects the elasticity of the skin.
L-ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)
This is the stable and effective form of Vitamin C and prevents free radical damage. Vitamin C is an essential nutrient involved in the repair of tissue and the enzymatic production. In benefits the skin with its antioxidant, anti-aging, and soothing properties.
Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract
Oat has moisturizing and soothing properties. This makes it perfect for soothing minor irritations and helps with cell regeneration leading to more youthful-looking skin.
The natural cleansing properties of Oats provide exfoliation action to get rid of dirt and impurities.
Bentonite Clay
Helps control sebum production by absorbing oils in the skin which makes it particularly great for oily skin.
Bromelain
An amazing mix of enzymes found in pineapple juice which softens and shed dead skin cells, effectively exfoliating the skin. It also soothes and calms inflammations.
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)
An emollient that helps repair skin. It is known as an effective remedy for dark spots, wrinkles, stretch marks and sunburn.
Calophyllum Inophyllum (Tamanu) Seed Oil
A soothing and deeply moisturizing ingredient that protects skin against free radical damage and promotes the production of collagen. Helps to soothe and moisturize dry and flaky skin, smoothing and softening the skin. Cetearyl Alcohol is a mixture of cetyl and stearyl alcohols. It is used as an emollient, texture enhancer, foam stabilizer, and carrying agent for other ingredients.
Cetyl Alcohol
Functions as an emollient, emulsifier, thickener and carrying agent for other ingredients in a skincare formula. It effectively softens and conditions the skin as well.
Beeswax
Rich in antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that are essential in fighting chapped skin and bacterial infections. It also a forms a protective wall by sealing in moisture in without clogging pores.
Curcuma Longa (Turmeric)
The active ingredient, curcumin, is a natural antiseptic with antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. It heals and prevents dry skin and is used to treat eczema and acne. Activated Charcoal (Carbon) Powder
Gently exfoliates skin to remove dead skin cells, unclog pores and absorb excess oil. It removes toxins from deep within smaller pores to clean the skin and balances out the skin’s natural oil production
Citric Acid
This acid is primarily used to balance the pH of a formula. It is also used an AHA to gently exfoliate the skin.
Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract
Lemons are natural astringents that help shrink pores and remove excess oils for softer and smoother looking skin. It contains limonene, so those with sensitive skin should use this ingredient with caution.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine
Removes dirt and oil by decreasing surface tension of water. It also has thickening and foaming properties
Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil
Packed with fatty acids and antioxidants, this oil works to rehydrate the skin. It reinforces the barrier to keep external stressors out, slowing down the aging process. Coconut oil acts as a natural sunscreen and is known to treat skin conditions such as Burns, Eczema, Dandruff, Dermatitis, and Psoriasis
Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract
A powerful anti-aging ingredient and antioxidant superstar with the ability to stimulate new cellular growth. Also proven to be a vital vegetable in fighting free radical damage naturally & safely.
Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Seed Oil
An emollient high in vitamins and a potent antioxidant which will help the skin to recover from sun-damage. It will also help with mature skin as it contributes to improving skin elasticity
Glutathione
A peptide which neutralizes free radicals, preventing the onset of wrinkles and signs of ageing. It also has brightening properties to reduce hyperpigmentation.
Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil
A skin-conditioning and emollient agent that is high in antioxidants. The linoleic acid in this oil helps the skin to retain its moistures by strengthening the protective barrier.
Honey Extract
A skin-conditioning agent and humectant packed with antioxidants. Its numerous antibacterial components fight acne. The antioxidant components fight against aging. It also boosts complexion and unclogs pores.
Sodium Hydroxide
Also known as lye and caustic soda. It is a highly alkaline ingredient used in small amounts in cosmetics to establish and hold the pH of a product. It’s also used as a cleansing and denaturing agent.
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride
Caprylic is an eight-carbon saturated fatty acid that is derived from Coconut Oil and palm kernel oil. Its anti- inflammatory and antibacterial functions make it a great tool for fighting acne.
Coco-Glucoside
A natural, non-ionic, surfactant. It is typically a combination of fatty acids from fruits or plants with glucose, which is sugar. It is used to clean sensitive skin.
Vegetable Glycerin
Natural Glycerin is the sugar derived from plants. It works moisturizes the skin by taking water from the air and putting it into the skin’s outer layer. Additionally, It forms a protective layer that helps prevent moisture loss.
Glyceryl Stearate SE
Derived from vegetables, Glyceryl Stearate SE is the monoester of glycerin and stearic acid. This is the component used to stabilize liquids by causing oil and water to emulsify. This makes it an essential component for mixing different skincare ingredients.
Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid)
Fills up the spaces between the connective fibers collagen and elastin in the skin, resulting in hydration and protection. It is particularly effective against wrinkles.
Xantham Gum
Xanthan Gum is a natural polysaccharide with many industrial uses, including as a common food additive. It is an effective thickening agent and stabilizer to prevent ingredients from separating.
TocopherylAcetate (Vitamin E)
Functions as an antioxidant, protecting the skin from harmful toxins in the air.
Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract
It is rich in triterpenoid esters (an anti-inflammatory), antioxidants and carotenoids. It promotes the healing of the skin and functions as an anti-inflammatory.
Hemp Seed Oil
Moderates oil production, moisturizes and soothes, Treats atopic dermatitis with its Omega-3 and Omega-6 properties and contains anti-aging properties
Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit (Sea Buckthorn) Oil
Helps prevent acne, dermatitis, dry skin, eczema, skin ulcers, and stretch marks. It can also be used for UV protection, easing sunburns, and healing wounds.
Moringa Pterygosperma (Moringa) Seed Oil
Contains many antioxidants and documented skin-rejuvenating properties. It functions as a skin rejuvenator, blemish remover, and anti-aging (wrinkle reducer) ingredient.
Ocimum Sanctum (Holy Basil) Leaf Extract
Contains Vitamins A and C, Calcium, Zinc, Iron, Chlorophyll and functions as an antioxidant and anti- inflammatory agent. Very good for blemish prone skin.
Parsea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil
Rich in triglycerides of oleic acid, Avocado oil penetrates lower levels of the skin to promote healing, skin regeneration and protection from the aging effects of UV light and pollution.
Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil
Contains many important components such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, and Vitamin E. These serve to soften and hydrate the skin.
Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Extract
This extract from the Pomegranate Fruit contains high levels of Vitamin C and antioxidants. In turn, these ingredients extend the life of fibroblasts, the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin, the components that give strength and support to the skin. It benefits the skin as follows:
- Prevents skin cell damage.
- Speeds up the healing of surface wounds.
- Repairs sun damage and aging damage
Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil
Used as an emollient or occlusive due to its rich fatty acid content. It soothes the skin and protects the pores from outside toxins.
Rosa Canina Fruit (Rosehip) Oil
Rosehip Oil is rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids. It corrects dark spots, hydrates dry and itchy skin and helps reduces scars and fine lines
Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Flower Extract Smooths and soothes dry or damaged skin.
Salix Alba (White Willow) Bark Extract
This extract from the White or European Bark has been in use for centuries. The bark is heavy in flavonoids, glycosides, tannins, salicin, salicyl alcohol, and aromatic acids and aldehydes. The Salicin component, in particular, is used to treat warts, bunions, corns, and acne when used in the topical form. It is also known to treat burns and soften the skin.
Simmondsia Chinensis Seed (Jojoba) Oil.
Jojoba Oil is composed almost entirely (~97%) of mono-esters of long-chain fatty acids and alcohols,
accompanied by only a tiny fraction of triglyceride esters. As an emollient it:
- Soothes skin
- Unclogs pores to treat acne
- Treat Psoriasis
- Treat sunburns
Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil.
Renowned for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and anti-microbial properties.
Kaolin Clay
Soak up excess oil, purify pores, and detoxify skin. Deeply cleanse facial skin and Exfoliate dead skin cells
Maris Limus Extract (Dead Sea Mud)
This famed mud from Israel’s Dead Sea is rich in 21 minerals and vitamins that have made it a historical cosmetic favorite. Dead Sea Mud does the following:

Maris Sal (Dead Sea Salt)
Dead Sea Salt is very unique as a salt. Most oceanic salt is approximately 85% sodium chloride (the same salt as table salt) while Dead Sea Salt is only 30.5% of this, with the remainder composed of other dried minerals and salts. It benefits the skin as follows;

Potash
The peels of plantain and husks of cocoa is roasted to produce Potash. This ash is mixed with selected oils (usually palm Kernel and Palm Oil) to form African Black Soap.
